HOW IT WORKS

Schedule your session

Use our booking calendar to set a time for your podcast recording session. Payment is taken at the time of booking (and is fully refundable if cancelled before the date of recording).

Record your podcast

Show up at your scheduled time and record! When you're finished recording, submit your episode using one of the options below.

Submit option A) your email inbox

If you're ready to publish your episode or you'd like to edit the audio yourself, use the "Submit to myself" button on the Streamdeck.

Submit option B) send for editing

If you would like your episode edited, use the "Submit for editing" button on the Streamdeck. Our audio editors will clean up unwanted noises and optimize levels.

Publish your episode

Once you've received your episode (through the Submit A / Submit B options), it's all yours! You can upload to your preferred podcast platforms.

First time in?

If it's your first time using our studio, you'll meet with an engineer for a quick orientation. At the orientation, you will be given access to our private studio, and will be shown how to conduct your podcast in full privacy.

FAQ

Yes! You can cancel for a full refund any time up until the day of your session. Refunds are processed by your bank and can take up to 10 days to process.

Since sessions are fully private and unattended by an engineer, there is no way for us to collect your payment at the time of your session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, session fees are fully refundable up until the day of your session.

We've worked hard to create a fully private recording experience. This means that nobody will be listening in, and you will have no interruptions. Your session is fully autonomous from beginning to end. Technical support is available by phone and remote access to the studio computer, if needed.

The podcast studio is a fully private room within a larger recording studio. There may be an audio engineer working in another room, but your recording session will never be attended by an engineer.

Stuff happens! If you need help, you can call the help line posted on the desk. We can assist over the phone, and can control the recording computer remotely if necessary. Sometimes, an audio engineer may be on site to help in person.

Good question! Our studio is designed for self-operation by our podcasters (that's you!). All controls are conveniently placed on the Streamdeck. The Streamdeck has simple buttons for all podcasting needs, including opening a recording session, recording your episode, pausing recording, and submitting your episode to yourself or to our editors. Our brief orientation will walk you through the process before you record your fist episode.

There are two submission options:

  • Submit to me
  • Submit for editing

When using the "Submit to me" option, your episode is sent to your email inbox instantly.

When using the "Submit for editing" option, your episode is sent to us for editing, and delivered to your email inbox within 5 days.

There's a good chance that someone else may have the time slot after you, and everyone is guaranteed the time they've booked. If you think you may run long, you can call us to check whether there's a booking after your session. But unless you have received authorization, you need to be cleared out of the studio by the end of your session.
